Our Focus

TAP prides itself in the services it offers for everyone in the local area and how these programmes can benefit the individuals and groups

that get involved.  We help children, families, and communities break the cycle of poverty by empowering people of all ages to dream,

aspire and achieve.

Educational Training & Support

Our purpose is to equip and empower disadvantaged communities through the provision of high quality specialist training and self-help programmes.

Some of our training programmes help people and communities to address the issues they face across a wide range of topics including crime, violence, social exclusion, worklessness and social cohesion.

Bringing people together who face similar local challenges allows them to share experience and create support networks, information exchanges and strong positive reinforcement for the idea of doing something about community problems. 

Physical Fitness and Well Being

We all want to be fit and capable of living life to its fullest extent. Physical and mental fitness play very important roles in your lives and people who are both, physically and mentally fit are less prone to medical conditions.

A person who is fit both physically and mentally is strong enough to face the ups and downs of life, and is not affected by drastic changes if they take place.

TAP run a number of fitness programmes geared for different age groups and various fitness levels.

Community & Social Interaction

Increased social interaction helps people build their self-esteem which in turn enables them to maintain and develop positive relationships and friendships.

The chance to make friends in a welcoming atmosphere is considered as one of TAP’s main focus areas for people, especially the elderly and lonely local residents.

Studies suggest that those who frequently socialise may live longer than those who don’t as socialising has a strong influence upon our health and happiness.

Our projects enables all ages of people to socialise on a regular basis and to participate in the regular events we hold. If you wish to start a new activity let us know and we will do our best to assist with setting up
