Stories

We measure our success in actual lives changed. These stories are a testament to the difference that communities can make when we come together to create lasting change.

Greater Rathfriland Community Development Forum

This bespoke community and health hub was commissioned in July 2021, for the purposes of implementing a highly innovative approach to healthcare in the community in the 21st century.

TAP in conjunction with PNC consulting developed a community hybrid health care model in conjunction with local pharmacy and healthcare providers, in a collaborative and novel approach to tackling health issues before it becomes a real problem. This model adopts an integrated approach to addressing health issues such as obesity, respiratory issues, smoking cessation, psychological issues and much more.

This building was designed, fully funded, and project managed by TAP & PNC consulting from the outset. The total value of this building project was in the range of £330,000 pounds sterling and was a total duration of 21 months.

The community now enjoy this building and the range of services that it provides, with no financial burden placed upon the community itself. TAP & PNC consulting still provide advisory services on a basis with things such as running costs as well as assistance in training and capital project development.

Renewable Energy

Wind Turbines

This was a fantastic project in South Co. Down, N. Ireland.

This scheme was originally designed to be undertaken as a community energy project. We sourced the land and engaged surveys, sourced finance and made grid connection enquiries. However due to the prevailing economic conditions we were forced to shelve the project and seek a private sector route.

TAP in conjunction with PNC was engaged as the facilitator for the land agreements and were instrumental in agreeing the contractual terms with the landowners and surrounding business interests.

We provided a public affairs element as well as a legal and project planning advisory service in the delivery of this project
